Commercial Fryers

You know you want to serve fried foods, but you don’t know where to start. The size and sales volume of your foodservice establishment will be the main factor in determining the fryer you’ll need. However, you will need to ask yourself the following questions when considering purchasing a commercial fryer:

  1. What type of food will I be serving?
  2. Do I need natural gas, propane, or electric?
  3. How many pounds of oil do I want the unit to hold?
  4. How often will I be using the fryer?
  5. Do I want a countertop or floor model?
  6. What is my budget?
  7. How much space do I have to fit this piece of equipment under my exhaust hood system or on my cooking line? (Always check with local inspectors for local code requirements)
  8. Will the food I’m frying be fresh or frozen? Depending on the answer to this question, you will need a fryer with quick recovery times when frying frozen foods.
Deep Fryers

A reliable and efficient restaurant fryer is a crucial piece of equipment in any commercial kitchen. A good commercial fryer should cook product quickly and efficiently with fast recovery times. Countertop fryers range in size from 10 to 32 oil capacity, while full size fryers range from 35 to 90 pound oil capacity. We stock top brands of gas and electric deep fryers from Pitco, Vulcan, Globe, and more.

Commercial Ranges

Just like commercial fryers, the size and sales volume of your foodservice establishment will be the main factor in determining the size range you’ll need. Ranges are versatile pieces of equipment and can be used for multiple cooking applications. When looking to purchase a commercial range, ask yourself the following questions:

Commercial Range
  1. Do I need natural gas, propane, or electric?
  2. What type of cooking will I be doing? (baking, boiling, grilling, sautéing, simmering, etc.)
  3. How many open burners do I want/need? Do I need a griddle top?
  4. Do I need a standard oven or convection oven base?
  5. How much space do I have to fit this piece of equipment under my exhaust hood system or on my cooking line? (Always check with local inspectors for local code requirements)
  6. What is my budget?

Most commercial ranges are the heart of a commercial kitchen. Countertop ranges are compact with a much smaller footprint than full size ranges making them more convenient to move around and clean. They come in electric or gas models with up to six burners. Full size ranges come in 4, 6, and 10 burner models. Combination ranges come in 2, 4, and 6 burner models with 24” or 36” griddles. Lastly, induction ranges are an effective solution when open-flame cooking is not practical or allowed by policy or fire code. We stock trusted brands such as Vulcan, Garland, and more.
