When a customer visits your front of house, they want to have a comfortable and convenient experience. The restaurant tables and chairs you provide are an essential part, but there are a number of options. From standard dining height, to counter, and bar, you want to provide the best options. When a customer is seated at the right table, they are able to remain close to their food, engage in conversation with other diners, and have a pleasant experience.

When focusing on table and seating height, there are 3 standard sizes to consider – dining, counter, and bar. In a typical commercial dining room or residential kitchen, Dining Height tables are between 28” and 30” depending on the thickness of the table top. Seats at a dining height table are 18” off the ground, to fit the average person comforablly. The highest option is a Bar Height table at a maximum of 42” tall. Bar height tables are great to put along walls, around the bar and for bistro tables at an event. When building a custom bar, you need to consider the height of the chairs you are going to purchase. Often seen in a residential setting, Counter Height seating at 36” is the way to go. With the variety of table height options available, we look forward to connecting and helping you find the right fit!
